Closing Symposium Amsterdam: 26th of May
During the second part of the evening, ECHO participants from each of the Academy cities presented the campaigns they had developed throughout the programme. Addressing issues ranging from climate justice and sustainable consumption to civic participation and social inclusion, participants shared their creative approaches to raising awareness and inspiring action in their local communities. The presentations showcased the diversity of perspectives and ideas that emerged across Europe and highlighted the potential of young people to contribute to democratic change.
The evening brought together ECHO participants, partners, policymakers, journalists and engaged citizens to discuss the future of democratic decision-making in Europe. Through keynotes, panel discussions and audience dialogue, the symposium highlighted both the challenges and opportunities for citizens seeking to influence European policy and strengthen democratic accountability.
